                  Церква Св. Параскеви
                  St. Paraskeva Church - the first Orthodox church in stone Chernivtsi. Built on the site of wooden parish church, designed by architect A. Pavlovskyi. In 1864, on the third anniversary of the death of Taras Shevchenko, Chernivtsi Rusyns in the church commemorates the first time Kobzar. In Soviet times there was placed the chess club. Now it is a temple of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kiev Patriarchate.
