                  Wooden archaic Church of the Assumption in 1794 building, is a model of traditional wooden churches of Bukovyna "Khatna" type. Built on stone foundations, is three-loged with decorative signature above the nave. All log-square in plan, slightly wider than the nave altar area. The roof is high, sloped and hides under a low cut pyramid-shaped ceiling of log houses. High removal of the roof support bracket step. A sign on the church tells us that the temple built by the Captain de Zotte and his wife - the founders of the palace in Vikno.
