              In 1898, the village brought a new Greek-Catholic Church of the Nativity of the Virgin, who in 1910 painted by the artist B. Sevarnytky. After the Second World War the church was closed and turned into a warehouse for storing grain. In the years of "perestroika" the church was renovated and immediately became a subject of dispute between believers of different religious communities. Renovated church was placed under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate. In 1995, on the basis of the Church of the Nativity, founded a convent of Our Lady Mother of Boiany.
