Title: Lyutezh Village Status: The village of Vyshgorodskiy district, Kyiv region Location: Located in about 28 miles from Kiev in the Kiev reservoir Population: 2282 Area: 3.2 sq km Reservoirs: Kiev reservoir Established in 975 Historical note: It is known from the year 975, when it was first mentioned in chronicles. It is believed that the name of the village comes from the name of the son of the Kiev governor Sveneld Ljuta, who was killed in this area by Prince Oleg.
