                  Title: Dudky village Status: village in Vyshgorodskyi district, village council center Location: in 2 km north from village Abramyvka Population: 30 Area: 81 ha Waterways: river Zdvyizh Established in: 1837 Historical note: Dudka village was founded in 1837 year. Firstly, the village was called “Guta”. All around were forests. Village inhabitants caught birds from the branches of trees and made pipe. These were their main ways for living. There is a lagand that the name of the village came from those pipes. During the World War II in August 1941 the village was occupied. In 1943 in the battles for the liberation of the village from invaders the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major O. Zinchenko was killed.
