                  Title: Kozarovychy village. Status: village in Vyshgorodskyi district, center of the village council Location: in 25 km from Vyshgorod Population: 1720 people Area: 489 ha Waterways: river Irpen`, Kyiv reservoir Established in: 1428 Historical note: For the first time in this area, people settled about 5 thousand years ago, during the Tripoli culture. Nearby the village have been found 6 villages of the Neolithic (4-3 thousand years ago), 2 burial of Bronze Age (2 thousand years BC). The first written mention refers to the 16th century. In 1652, the owner of the village was Teteria which to save his soul gave it to Kiev – Mezhyhirsk Monastery. In 1918 was established Soviet power. In 1933 in the village was opened a shelter for orphans. In place of the former church school was built. October 5, 1943 Kozarovychy were rescued from German occupation during the Second World War, the village was completely burned and then rebuilt after the war. Kozarovychy visited such famous people as Nikita Khrushchev, Dean Reed, Yves Montand, Michael Stelmach, Stephen Oleinik, Adam Mickiewicz.
