                  Title: Sraryi Petrivcy village. Status: village in Vyshgorodsky district, the center of the village council. Location: in 9 km from city Vishgorod. Population: 3225 people. Area: 589,13 ha Waterways: Kyiv reservoir Established in:1700 year. Historical note:The legend says that settlement Petrivcy was situated in Zhurkyvska valley where community ofeldety Petro lived. His relatives wer called petrivchanu. in 1781 in Stary Petrivcy lived 216 inhabitants. in 1904 there was created a distict ( at that times it was calle volost`), which included 10 villages nd Stary Petrivcy became a center village of this district. in 1918 sovjet power came to the village. September,12 1941 the village was occupied. in 1942 44 inhabitants were taken to Germany for works. October, 17 1943 the village was freedomed. after the war stary petryvcy began to be rebuilt. in 1960`s the village library was opened. It`s highest level of development it reached in 1970-1980`s. there were farms, a huge garden.
