                  The main park of Kharkiv. It occupies an area of more than 130 hectares. Country Mykolaїvs'kyi Park was built in 1893-1895 years. and opened, when a few trees grew, in 1907. Funding comes from city residents. Planning alleys imitated the Bois de Boulogne: united in an elongated ring of Chestnut and Linden avenue (also known as vehicle-) were intended for riding. In 1938, after his death, the park was named after Maxim Gorky. In 1952 he built the colonnade at the entrance, which bіla demolished in 2001 and again rebuilt in 2006 for the City Day. In 2007 the fountain was restored at the end of the main avenues. In the spring of 2011 to June 2012 the park was closed for reconstruction.
