                  Село Синяк
                  Name: Synyak village Status: Village in Vyshgorodsky area, center of the village council Location: Located in 28 km from Vyshgorod. Population: 1,063 people. Area: 319.17 hectares. Ponds: - Founded in: 1897 Historical note: There is a version that the name of the village came from a gentleman of surname Sinyavsky, on whose land a villge is situated. After the revolution of 1905 Mr. Sinyavsky sold his land and went abroad. In 1919 in village was established Soviet power. In 1923 a new school building was built. In 1929 was established a farm. On November,6 1943 the village was liberated from German occupation. In 1993 the village was supplied with gas. Nowadays on the subordinated territories of the village there are more than 10 different businesses. In Synyak works Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Virgin of Mercy.
