Title: Yasnohorodka village Status: village in Vyshgorodskyi district, village council center Location: in 53 km from Vyshgorod. Population: 460 people Area: 347 ha Waterways: Kyiv reservoir. Established in: XVII century Historical note:Near Yasnohorodka there was a settlement of Bronze Age. The first mention of Yasnohorodka was in XVII century. Hetman Pavlo Teteria was the owner of the village and then gave it to Kyiv Mezhyhirsk monastery. In 1686 during the rule of Poland all the estates of monasteries were confiscated. Yasnohorodka in 1745 became patrimonial property Eustache Potocki. In 1783, Joseph Kubytskyy bought Kozarovychy, Hlibivkoyu and Yasnogorodku. During this period in Yasnohorodka lived 1125 people. In 1831 the peasant rebellion happened. In 1865 village became a property of Countess L. F. Potots`ka. In 1913 in the village was opened steam mill in the estate of landowner Ephraim. At that time in the village had already been water mills and windmills. To thresh grain in yasnohorodskyh mills drove the inhabitants of surrounding villages. In 1921 in the village was created one of the first in the Kyiv region agriculture punkts. In the same 1921 was established a collective farm. Since the end of June 1941 to November, 3 1943 Yasnogorodka was in occupation of German forces. Today the village has school, club, library, medical clinic, pharmacy, forestry and three shops. There are two churches. The main sights of the village:the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker
