                  Title: Lebedivka village Status: village in Vyshgorodskyi district, village council center Location: in 20 km from Vyshgorod Population: 1230 people Area: 428 ha Waterways: Kiev Reservoir Established in: 1930 year Historical note:According to the legends, the village was founded in 1930, when on these lands settled grandfather nicknamed Lebid` (Swan). A man built a house and started to manage his land. This legend fell to the soul of locals, so they decided to call their village Lebedivka. Before the war the village was a small farm, a collective farm where was about 100 buildings. From September 1941 to August 1943 the village was under occupation. In 1960 because of the construction of dams on the Dnieper, in Lebedivka moved residents from, now submerged, villages Svarom'ya, Starosylja, Tarasovichy, Oshytok and others. In 1997 Lebedivka was completely gasified. Today the village has a school, club, and many businesses. In the village works health center and the church of St. Elias.
