The first written mention of it dates back to 1926. Before residents began to live here, this area was known as the Pyrno valley. Legend says that the name of the village came from the princes of Old Rus. Returning from Chernigov to Kyiv, they were on a break here, and staged a "feast"- from this word came the name of the valley and then the village. Since 1930 Pyrnovo became an administrative center of new Vyschedubenchanskoho area and had a little status of a farm. Wre built:printing house,post office,airport, savings bank, a hospital with a maternity hospital and health center, military enlistment, outside a cinema, a children's music school, kindergartens and schools, and the club. In 1964 the farm Pyirno became the village Pyirnove. In October 2006 the village was renamed from Pyirnove on Pyirnovo.
