              Name: Kozhanka village Status: a village in Ukraine, the administrative center of the Kozhanka village community of the Fastov district of the Kyiv region. Location: 18 km from Fastov Population: 2141 Area: 9.9 sq. km Reservoirs: r. Kamenka Founded: 1390 Historical information: The village was founded in 1390. The name of this ancient village was given by local folk craftsmen and masters of working with leather, hence the name of the village Kozhanka. In the central part of Kozhanka, the wooden Church of the Intercession, built in 1759, has been preserved. The Haidamaki gave funds for the construction of the temple. Sights: Intercession Church.
