This unique open-air aviation museum in the city of Konotop, Sumy region of Ukraine was created in 2008. The exposition of the museum consists of a monument to the pilots - instructors of the 105th training aviation regiment (aircraft L-39) and 5 "winged beauties" - helicopters. They were developed under the guidance of M.L. Mil, each of which has its own characteristics: multipurpose helicopter Mi-8T, which is widely used in civil aviation and the Armed Forces, combat helicopters Mi-24A, Mi-24-V, transport giant Mi-6AYA. In addition to the exposition of aviation equipment in the open air, the museum today also has an exposition in the museum premises, which includes a significant amount of photographic materials, scale models of aircraft that were based at the Konotop airfield in different years, and thematic stands.
